Harold W. Sanford, M.D., received his medical degree from the Medical
University of South Carolina and his Undergraduate and Premed degrees from The
Citadel.
His Internship was completed at the Naval Hospital, San Diego, CA and his
Radiology Residency was completed at the Naval Hospital, Philadelphia, PA.
Dr. Sanford previously was on staff at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center
from 1974 to 1986.
He served as Chief of Medical Staff, Wallace Thomson Hospital, Union, SC
1996-97; served as Commanding Officer of three separate Naval Reserve Medical
Units 1979-88; was named Fellow of American College of Radiology, 1995; served
a number of years as SC State Counselor for the Radiology Society of North
America; served at least ten years as a delegate to the South Carolina Medical
Association Annual Convention.
He is Board Certified in Radiology with the American Board of Radiology.
