Arthur
M. Freedman, M.D., received his medical degree
from SUNY Brooklyn Health Sciences University, and his undergraduate degree
from Tulane University.
His Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology Fellowship was completed at Thomas Jefferson University,
Radiology Residency at Cornell-North Shore University Hospital. His Internship
was completed at Johns Hopkins-Frances Scott Key Hospital. He has been an assistant professor of Interventional Radiology at the Medical College of Virginia.
Dr. Freedman specializes in Interventional Radiology, treatment of peripheral, renal, cartoid arterial disease with angioplasty, stents, thrombolysis, image
guided biopsy/cancer treatments, non-surgical treatment of uterine fibroids, vertebral fractures/back pain and varicose veins in the legs.
Dr. Freedman is is Board Certified in Vascular and Interventional Radiology. He specializes in Vascular Disease, Angioplasty and
Vascular Stenting, Uterine Fibroid Embolization, and Balloon Kyphoplasty and Percutaneous Vertebroplasty. He has served on the Vascular Committee and the
Trauma Committee. He has lectured extensively about these procedures to physicians and patients. Tumor Board and Graduate Medical Education Committee.
He is married with four children.
